Curation: Summer Days

Dressing for warm weather is actually difficult for me…

I love the fall/winter layers and have some body image issues that make wearing less/showing more a battle for me. That being said, I’ve identified what those hold backs are and have become conscious of clothing materials, shapes, etc. to help me show what I like and hide what I prefer.

My trouble spots include my arms and my lower stomach. I would wear this outfit confidently because this shirt provides coverage where I want it, while still being comfortable for the summer heat. This chic top and trendy cargo skirt paired with some boxy kitten heels and a Y2K-inspired bag contrast nicely with the casual headband and statement earrings. In addition to comfort, I’m always looking for ways to mix dressy with casual to prepare an all-day outfit for any occasion, and this one nails that.
